As a built environment Consultant you are called upon by your Clients to assist with Contract/Project planning. Contract type selection, and advising on drafting additional and amended terms to the conditions of contract are required to ensure that there are no errors or omissions in the contract and your Client’s risks are adequately protected. 
 
When procurement and tender planning documentation is confusing or contradictory the tender process and subsequent contract management and administration processes are hampered, leading to costly and time consuming claims and disputes which can be avoided or mitigated by forward thinking planning.
 
We are able to assist you to mitigate your Client's risks, including by -
  • Supplementing your human resources when under pressure or providing an independent (re)view of contract selection, data, and suggest contract changes,
  • Create a ‘conformed’ version of the contract incorporating amendments and contractual provisions into the general conditions of the contract to make risk assessment easier to perform,
  • Providing a risk report detailing ambiguities, conflicts and specific risk issues that impact on contract risk and administration in the interests of your Client,
  • Review tender request documentation by means of the above.
  • Assist with Contract Negotiations.
